This week I am test driving the completely redesigned 2017 Kia Sorento. It’s bigger, more sophisticated, and improved in general. The new 2017 KIA Sorento is three inches longer than previous models and it comes with premium Nappa leather seats.

The 2017 Kia Sorento has LED running lights and taillights, special exterior trim, a 10-way power driver’s seat (plus four-way power lumbar), driver memory settings, heated second-row seats, and an 8-inch touchscreen interface with navigation included. The Sorento has a 10-speaker Infinity sound system with Clari-Fi digital music improvement technology.
The 2017 KIA also has several well-executed available technology features, such as an excellent 360-degree camera system.

The new 2017 KIA Sorento has an Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility features. The top-line SXL model is now only available with a V6 engine. In addition to the expected improvement in passenger and cargo room, it got new styling and an optional turbocharged 4-cylinder engine. Safety features include available forward collision warning, blind-spot- and cross-traffic alert, and a surround-view camera. The 2017 KIA also has several well-executed available technology features, such as an excellent 360-degree camera system. The KIA Sorento is a worthy competitor to class rivals such as the Toyota Highlander and Honda Pilot.
The SX Limited model is powered by a 3.3-liter V6 engine and rated at 290 horsepower. It comes coupled to a 6-speed automatic transmission.

Conclusion
The 2017 Kia Sorento SX Limited AWD is a very comfortable family crossover. It comes with a plenty of space. If you live in a country side or in town the Sorento is a great vehicle to have. The price does go up with all-wheel-drive, 3-rows of seating, and the latest technology, but it’s still a competitive offering from Kia. Overall, it’s smooth and comfortable on the road.
